INSTITUTE FOR TERRITORIAL DEVELOPMENT The Institute for Territorial Development is a self-governing organisational unit of the Lower Silesian Voivodeship, which carries out the voivodeship's tasks in the field of development policy and spatial planning. In addition, due to the scope of works carried out, IRT cooperates with neighboring provinces and border regions of neighboring countries. The widest and most intensive cooperation is carried out with the Free State of Saxony in the Federal Republic of Germany and with the Czech countries. The activities of the Institute also include the performance of substantive tasks for the current needs of the Board of the Lower Silesian Voivodship and the Marshal's Office (opinions, text and graphic materials, information, reports, editions of studies).
